FAQs
What is Walk 10km this summer?
This is a physical fundraising challenge for Terrence Higgins Trust. We are challenging everyone to walk 10km on a day during the summer. If you’d like to increase the distance and set a higher target, that’s completely up to you!
Are there any registration fees?
No, it’s free to take part.
Is there a fundraising target?
No, you can set your own target. We suggest a target of £100.

When you register your walk, an Enthuse fundraising page will be automatically set up for you. You can then share your Enthuse page on social media and send the link to your family and friends for donations. We will also send you fundraising tips before your walk.
How long will it take to walk 10km?
It usually takes between 90 minutes and two hours to walk 10km, which is just over 6 miles.
How can I track my 10km?
You can track your 10km however you wish, we recommend using a free walking app or a smart watch.
How do I get the free Terrence Higgins Trust t-shirt?
We will send you a t-shirt once you have raised over £20 on your Enthuse page.
Do I have to do the challenge in the summer?
Whilst we encourage everyone to complete this challenge in June, July or August, this is a personal challenge, and you can walk your 10km on a date that is convenient for you.
Do I have to walk the 10km in one day?
You can complete your 10km in a way that’s a challenge for you.
What do I do if there is a group of us walking?
If you are walking with friends, please each individually register your walk. Everyone can set up their own Enthuse page or you may just want to set up the one Enthuse page and share it.
What if I don’t complete the 10km?
The only thing that matters is that you challenge yourself and therefore complete as much of the 10km as you can. Whether you complete the distance or not, the money that you fundraise will allow Terrence Higgins Trust to continue our live saving work.
