As we celebrate everything we’ve accomplished in the past 40 years, we want to recognise all the incredible work that’s gone on since 1982 by challenging you to complete 19.82 miles or km in support!

Taking part is simple:

  • Sign up using the form below.
  • Ask friends and family to sponsor you.
  • Walk, run, swim or hop 19.82 miles or km – find your own way to cover the distance!

Is there a minimum fundraising target?

No – you can choose your own fundraising goal.  We suggest a you set a goal as people are often most generous when they can see you are aiming for a certain amount - £100 is a great place to start!

What distance do I have to do?

You can complete the 19.82 Challenge in miles, or kilometres, or even set a target of 19.82 minutes, or hours if you prefer.  It’s your choice!

Do I have to complete the full distance in one go?

No.  You can complete the distance all in one go, or over a time period that suits you.

Is there a timeframe I need to complete my challenge in?

We suggest completing your challenge this summer, but you can do it anytime you like.

How should I complete the distance?

It’s completely up to you! You can run, walk, cycle, swim, dance or hop, or anything else you like!
